The session will introduce people to Firefox OS, the overview, branding and distribution and will explain the governance behind it. Then we’ll introduce the development process for Firefox OS, going through it all (build, requirements, porting, bug reporting and fixing, adding features to the OS).
We’ll then go into explaining the contribution flows through well documented steps and points of entry for people with various degrees of technical skills and expertise, including non-technical people. We will introduce people to the release process of Firefox OS and we’ll encourage people to develop apps, that being another way people can contribute to the development of the OS.
