Join the Open Source Community in Supporting Devoxx4Kids

O'Reilly believes strongly in the value of increasing diversity at our conferences and creating a productive and inclusive environment for all participants.

To help support education and diversity in the technology community, while OSCON registration is open, we're raising funds for Devoxx4Kids. The goal of Devoxx4Kids is to allow children to be more creative with computers and teach them Computer Programming while having fun. To accomplish this, the Devoxx4Kids team organizes sessions where children can develop computer games, program robots and also have an introduction to electronics. Teachers are computer professionals who volunteering to spend some of their free time to transmit their passion to children.

We ask that you join us in supporting this worthy organization by making a donation when you sign up. O'Reilly will match those donations at the end of the conference. We wouldn't usually make a financial contribution selected by default, but we hope this underscores how crucial we think it is to support diversity and education.

Thank you for considering this organization. We welcome your thoughts about this or other successful diversity efforts you've encountered. Send suggestions, comments, and feedback to diversity@oreilly.com.
