Edd Dumbill is a technologist, writer and programmer based in California. He’s helping drive businesses with data as VP Strategy for Silicon Valley Data Science.
Edd was the founder and creator of the Expectnation conference management system, and a co-founder of the Pharmalicensing.com online intellectual property exchange.
A veteran of open source, Edd has contributed to various projects, such as Debian and GNOME, and created the DOAP Vocabulary for describing software projects.
Sarah Novotny is the CIO of a video game production house, Meteor Entertainment. She regularly talks about infrastructure automation and geek lifestyle. She is a founder and board member of Blue Gecko which does remote administration and management of databases around the world.

Matthew McCullough, Training Pioneer for GitHub, is an energetic 15 year veteran of enterprise software development, world-traveling open source educator, and co-founder of a US consultancy. All of these activities provide him avenues of sharing success stories of leveraging Git and GitHub. Matthew is a contributing author to the Gradle and Jenkins O’Reilly books and creator of the Git Master Class series for O’Reilly. Matthew regularly speaks on the No Fluff Just Stuff conference tour, is the author of the DZone Git RefCard, and is President of the Denver Open Source Users Group.
Simon St.Laurent is a Senior Editor at O’Reilly and a web developer. His books include Learning Rails, Programming Web Services with XML-RPC, Office 2003 XML, and XML: A Primer.
