This tutorial explores a set of simple and practical techniques for giving better, more effective, more entertaining presentations. Discover how to capture an audience, hold their interest, convey your message to them clearly…and maybe even inspire them.

The class explains the seven basic principles of good presentation: from selecting the right format and content, through preparing your dialogue and visual materials, to delivery techniques and how to handle questions (or the lack thereof). It also provides a dozen simple and practical techniques for making your slides not suck.

In past years, this class has been available only to official OSCON speakers. This year we are once again opening it up to all attendees.
