Andy Oram is an editor at O’Reilly Media, a highly respected book publisher and technology information provider. He currently specializes in open source technologies, programming, and health IT. His work for O’Reilly includes the first books ever released by a U.S. publisher on Linux, the 2001 title Peer-to-Peer, and the 2007 best-seller Beautiful Code. Andy writes often for the Strata blog and other O’Reilly tech blog sites, as well as other other publications, where he talks about policy issues related to the Internet and trends affecting technical innovation and its effects on society.
