This session demonstrates how to troubleshoot the common problems that lead to hung and slow Java applications by going through case studies derived from actual problems we have seen on our production systems. Each case study is accompanied by a live demo of the tool best suited for troubleshooting that particular problem. The presentation discusses the approach of our team to troubleshooting hung and slow Java applications and demonstrates the tools it uses to monitor and troubleshoot some common problems it has come across that lead to hung and slow Java applications. There will also be a general Q&A and open discussion at the end so attendees can share their favorite tools, tricks, and/or best practices.
