Want to hear more about OpenStack? It's one of the fastest growing open source projects, and with its fifth release, April 5th, there are more than 2,500 people contributing worldwide, and more than 150 companies. OpenStack is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service framework, and is composed of sub-projects covering compute, object store, image store, identity and a dashboard. There are dozens more projects that are associated toolsets and related services to extend functionality.
The OpenStack day will be hosted by Jonathan Bryce of Rackspace.
Note: Your OSCON pass must include Tuesday to attend OpenStack Day. You may also be interested in the Getting Started with OpenStack tutorial on Monday afternoon.
