We’ll cut through the theory and show you how to design and build functional websites using the newest HTML5 tags and CSS3 properties.

We’ll review all of the new tags and properties, cover browser compatibility, talk about real fonts, and check up on design best practices. Practically, using our case-study website built specifically for this tutorial, we’ll go through each of the major new features in HTML5 and CSS3, and provide real-world application exercises at the end of each lesson.

PREREQUISITES

1. You’ll need to have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
2. You’ll need to bring your own laptop
3. You’ll need to run a browser that is not Internet Explorer. ;) (latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Chrome are fine)
