Many job postings around the world are going unfulfilled for many months because there aren’t enough Perl programmers out there to fill them all! It’s time you learned Perl if you don’t know it already, and you can learn it from the guy who brought you the first Programming Perl (“Camel book”) and Learning Perl (“Llama book”), Randal Schwartz. Randal has been involved with the Perl community since the very beginning, and knows what people need to know about getting started with Perl.

This course is a condensation of the training course normally delivered by Randal over a week-long period, covering such topics as scalars, arrays, hashes, subroutines, I/O, filehandles, and regular expressions.

You should already know what an array is and what a subroutine is. This is not an introduction to programming, but an introduction to programming in Perl.
