Bryan Smith
Chief Technical Officer, Tacit Labs Inc

Bryan A Smith is a Debian Gnu/Linux and BSD enthusiast, hardware hacker and Systems Engineer. Bryan has used Open Source Operating Systems since the days of Red Hat 5 Hurricane.

He contributes to several Open Source projects and has helped launch several startup ISP’s based in his area using Open Source software as a framework.

Bryan is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Tacit Labs Inc and Lead Systems Administrator at Dreamfish.com Global Collaborative

Bryan spends his free time organizing Fossetcon, administering his free Linux shell server SHellium.org, advocating Open Source, proctoring BSD Associate Certification, writing poetry and playing Bossa Nova and Flamenco guitar.

I have a copy of Art of Community that I had Jono sign at Community Leadership Summit 2010. There were so many questions generated from him material that the session spilled over, yet hardly anyone...

Jono always hits home for me...maybe you should have gone to his other session! He accomplished his mission if that's what you took away from it; it's daunting to cover expansive topics in 15 mins....

These guys had all the bases covered for attendees. I was late coming back after a break and was able to get caught up without a problem due to their prepreparedness. Great Session...Good Guys and ...

I've been to this session at different conferences and I enjoy the in depth shotgun approach that Garrett brings to it. He's got a cool beard also!
