Deborah Lewis
Chief Software Architect, Glaivestone Software LLC

Deb Lewis is a software architect and developer with extensive experience in OO software, class library and framework development, programming tools, and desktop and web-based applications. After working on the pioneering Xerox Star workstation, she was a technical and team leader working on Digitalk’s Visual Smalltalk. Discouraged by the productivity costs and brittleness of subsequent work in statically typed Java, she has been delighted to return to dynamically typed languages with Python and Ruby. Fun is being able to work effectively and create useful software.
