Dan joined Google in 2006 to help developers using tools and platforms such as Android and the Google Web Toolkit. Dan is now the Open-Source and Compatibility Lead for the Android mobile platform. Before joining Google, Dan was a computer scientist at GE Research, where he gave himself headaches by switching between web development in JavaScript and integrated circuit design in Verilog. Dan lives in San Francisco with his wife, two cats, and a big pile of electronics.
