During the presentation, Marvell will explore various market opportunities and share information about the Android market for Marvell’s open source, eco-friendly Plug Computer.
The Marvell Plug Computer enables development of new value-added services and applications for mobile devices of all screen sizes. With the Plug Computer, developers can embed and develop software and apps on Android for new intuitive, consumer experiences: from online multimedia servers, management of medical and financial records as well as a command post for the smart home.
David Avital is a Technical Marketing Manager in the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) wthin Marvell Semiconductor Ltd. David has over 9 years of applications and system engineering, design engineering and marketing experience in high technology. David’s responsibilities at Marvell include managing strategic software partnerships and technology development portion of the SheevaPlug SoC business.
Prior to Marvell, David has served as a team leader of enterprise projects involving SAN, NAS and virtualization technologies in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) technology and computer center (MAMRAM). David graduated from Singalovski College in Tel-Aviv with a degree in software engineering.

David gave a great talk and offered us a sneak peak at Marvell’s latest devices that we can’t wait to get our hands on. He lead a very intense question and answer session after his talk as well. These Marvell guys really know their technology inside and out!
