CloudCamp @ OSCON
Pre-cloud Open source software played a critical role in the creation of the first cloud platforms, but it has taken a while for post-cloud open source projects to gain traction and have an impact in the space. With the success of the Ubuntu/Eucalyptus distribution, Chef and the many Cloud API libraries like jClouds & Simple Cloud API, have shown how important a role Open Source will play.
CloudCamp @ OSCON will include 5 min. Lightning Talks by open source project leads who will share their projects with us, an Unpanel for group Q&A about Open Source, and one round of Open Space discussions proposed by the attendees.
