Infobright is a high performance, self-tuning analytic database designed for both enterprises and software providers that delivers fast query performance against large volumes of data with minimal IT effort. It combines a columnar database with its Knowledge Grid architecture that eliminates the need for indexes, data partitioning or other DBA effort. Infobright has both an open source version (ICE – Infobright Community Edition) and a commercial edition (IEE – Infobright Enterprise Edition) of the technology.
This session will cover an overview of columnar database technology, the details of Infobright’s technology, how to migrate from traditional row-based products, and will also include case studies.
One case study will focus on a SaaS provider who is the leading mobile analytics company, who saw query response time reduced from many minutes to just seconds.
