Since the MeeGo project was launched in February of this year, we’ve made great progress with the launch of MeeGo 1.0, providing developers with a stable core foundation for application development and a rich user experience for Netbooks, and the opening of the handset user experience as part of the MeeGo 1.1 development tree. Dirk Hohndel, Chief Linux and Open Source Technologist of the Software and Solutions Group will bring you up to speed with the latest developments in MeeGo, including the project structure and working groups, progress and plans for MeeGo 1.1, and how you can get started developing applications for MeeGo. Come join him to see what all the buzz is about and more importantly to learn about the technology and design innovations behind it and how you can get involved.
