This session will introduce the audience to MeeGo and Intel’s programs created to assist developers in creating exciting, innovative apps and making them available to consumers via Intel’s new software store called the AppUp Center. Attendees will learn what’s available through the Intel Atom Developer Program and how to create MeeGo apps for the AppUp Center. The combination of MeeGo and both Intel programs create new usage models for consumers and new opportunities for developers. This talk will also introduce MeeGo and AppUp SDK’s for developing applications targeted to millions of users.
David is a senior software engineer at Intel since 2008, focusing on Software Services.
A New Zealand native, Aaron came to the US thirteen years ago after a successful career at the Department of Internal Affairs and Unisys, and later Microsoft Corporation. During his seven years at Microsoft, Aaron served in several senior management teams participating in strategic partnerships and M&A activities. For four years, Aaron was a lead architect in Microsoft’s eBusiness team, building some of the largest eCommerce sites and customer portal properties on the Microsoft technologies.
With the knowledge and expertise Aaron acquired from his time at Microsoft, he formed speakTECH in 2005. As the President and CEO, Aaron has rapidly grown speakTECH into an award-winning technology consulting firm. His vision of offering clients solutions in both technology and user experience services has given clients the leverage to compete in today’s market conditions in the most agile manner.
