Jonathan is an expert in databases and distributed systems. At Mozy, he built a scalable multi-petabyte storage system based on Reed-Solomon encoding.
He currently works on the Cassandra distributed database and cloud infrastructure for Rackspace Hosting.

this was a really nicely done overview – delivered on what was promised, good coverage of the subject. One of the better sessions and well worth my time to get a quick overview of the nosql space.
Interesting talk. Nice to have some info on the different projects summed up. Suggestion for another time – concrete examples (goals, projects, etc) of when one might choose each individual “NoSQL” solution.

Good intro to this topic. Hopefully you convinced some skeptics… wish NoSQL vs Relational wasn’t such a religious topic.
