Convention Location

Hotel Reservations

We have negotiated special rates for OSCON attendees at the nearby hotels within walking distance of the OCC. We recommend you make your hotel reservations for OSCON as soon as possible. Hotel rooms are limited and will sell out early.

Additional Hotel Rooms

O'Reilly Media has secured additional hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza Portland Convention Center. Please call 503-233-2401 and identify yourself as attending "O'Reilly Open Source Convention". Deadline for reservations is June 22, 2010 or when the room block sells out.

Room Rate: $144.00 plus tax per night.

Reservations

• By Phone: Call (800) 996-0510 and reference the group code "O'Reilly Media, Inc." to receive the discounted room rate.
• Online: Reservations can be made via the hotel's website. To obtain the discounted room rate make sure you enter the group code OMI in the "Group / Convention Code" section of the reservations page.

The cutoff date to make your room reservations is June 19, 2010. In order to receive the group room rate, you must request the group rate for "O'Reilly Media, Inc." Reservations received after the cutoff date of June 19, 2010 or when the room block is sold out (whichever comes first) will be honored on a space-available basis at the prevailing rate of the hotel. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state & local taxes (currently 12.5%) in effect at time of check-in.

The Red Lion is sold out the nights of July 17, 21, and 22.

If you are looking to save money on your housing costs, you may wish to room-share. Portland International Airport (PDX)

The Portland Int'l Airport serves approximately 120 domestic and international cities by 17 commercial airlines.

MAX Light Rail

For affordable & convenient transportation from the Portland International Airport (PDX) to the hotels and Convention Center, hop aboard the Airport MAX light rail "Red Line". The Double Tree Hotel, Red Lion Hotel and the Oregon Convention Center are all located on the MAX light rail line with service to and from Portland International Airport. For a minimal fee, (currently $1.95) MAX will transport guests from the airport directly to the Hotel and/or OCC's doorstep. Service runs every 15 minutes seven days a week between 4:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
