Ken Eshelby has been a Network Engineer for the State of Oregon for 14 years. With a keen interest in data collection and statistical analysis, he has been leading Network Management System development and FCAPS integration for the State’s data center network engineering team. Areas of expertise include enterprise LAN and WAN routing and switching with a wide variety of technologies such as MPLS VPNs, BGP, 802.11 protocols, VoIP and QoS. Prior to the State, Ken worked for the Oregon University System as a network and systems analyst as well as a network administrator for Oregon State University.

Very good overview. I am an app admin/reluctant developer (opennms) and took a bunch of great approaches away for tuning my deployed db to match the app's needs. I'm curious why so many low ratings?
