I untangle source code, reversing entropy and building order out of disorder.
Involved with computers since the days of BASIC on PDP-8/e and Fortran on DECsystem-10s. Used 8-bit micros with CP/M and UCSD p-System. Worked at Heathkit (remember them?) with their H-89 and Z-100 computers. Survived the PC clone wars. Transitioned to Windows and now to Linux.
I’ve been a developer, an analyst, a tester, a build-master, a sysadmin, and a version control sheriff.
I’ve used C, C++, Java, and C#. Now a fan of Perl and Ruby.
Moving to functional programming and visualization. Interested in Haskell and tools like GraphViz and Processing.
