The Tech Museum has created one of the world’s first open-source museum product development environments, where anyone can contribute content or ideas for exhibitions, floor programs, hands-on science labs, web sites, and more.

These new exhibits are the result of The Tech’s virtual exhibit design initiative and competition, called The Tech Virtual, which revolutionized the way new museum exhibitions are developed. Learn about our latest and ongoing design challenges including the global “Program for the Future”. After your tour, enjoy this world-class museum at your own pace.
