The Agenda Lounge is at the corner of South 1st Street and San Salvador Street, one block away from the Convention Center. We will have activities on all three floors of the club available for our event.
The entrance to the venue will be sectioned off by ropes along an orange runway carpet guiding people to line-up around the side of the building.
Ross Turk will present the awards through out the night from various locations within the venue. Each floor will be equipped with A/V displaying Ross’ presentations, user submitted videos, and the activities happening on the other floors.
This year’s award categories are: Best Project, Best Project for the Enterprise, Best Project for Gamers, Best Project for Multimedia, Best New Project, Best Tool or Utility for SysAdmins, Best Tool or Utility for Developers, Best Commercial Open Source Project, Best Project for Academia, Best Project for Government, Most Likely to Change the Way You Do Everything, Best Visual Design
Free Food and Beverage including Premium Drinks will be provided
Three separate DJ’s will be spinning various forms of techno on each of the three floors throughout the entire event
The top floor of the Agenda will feature a Gaming Lounge, Billiards Area, Twitter Stations, and an interactive ThinkGeek booth.
The lower level of the Agenda (below street level) will feature local San Jose tattoo artists giving away free ‘tech-related’ tattoos, Twitter stations and a “confessional booth”
T-shirts, bags, and ThinkGeek merchandise will be given away to all participants.
The entire event will be broadcast live over the Internet.
We are planning a few big giveaways as well to participants both at the Agenda and online.
