We made the complete packaging and deployement of an OpenSource messaging solution for very very big sites. Those kind of deployements are not done the « apt-get install postfix » way. You need to package your whole solution, create automatic installation cdrom for differents kinds of hardware platforms, auto-deploy the correct configurations, ensure that your patches are taken by upstream distributors. We did it, and we will show you how ! We will show you what we did to get in the Ubuntu distribution. Finally we will explain how to build a ready to use virtual appliance.
