A simple Rich Internet Application (RIA) feels very robust and responsive to a client using it.
RIA development is a complete paradigm shift from Java web application development. As we move away from Java web applications, we realize that we no longer have features that are available by default in a web container. These features include form based login, security constraints, localization, sessions and so on.
We will discuss how these and other issues were overcome in the implementation of Web Stack Enterprise Manager, which is a monitoring application which displays various monitoring metrics for the Sun Web Stack components.
