Organizations, businesses, clubs, and all kinds of user groups around the world are using online bulletin boards to bring communities together, and phpBB is the most widely used free and open source bulletin board solution online.
This session will be an informal roundtable discussion about phpBB, which may touch on some of the following topics:Local phpBB users from the Bay Area, including current and former phpBB team members, will participate in this session as part of a phpBB users meetup that is coinciding with OSCON. Many of them will have lots of experience using phpBB and running communities and will be able to share their experiences with others interested in learning more.
This session will be moderated by Douglas Bell, former phpBB MODifications Team member and the co-host of the phpBB Weekly podcast who will also be recording this session and releasing it as a special episode of the podcast.
