I’m a recent graduate of UW-Madison, whose interests include programming languages, operating systems, and surfing the ever-growing wave of what’s new in the software world. My skills include a wide variety of programming languages and techniques, but Perl and Lua are my current favorites.

Damian's talk on Perl 6 was both entertaining and encouraging. I feel it gave a good introduction to the language's new features, and it provided a lot of motivation to help out on Rakudo.
