Dean Jefferson has been an Information Technology instructor at Madison Area Technical College for over 10 years (8 years full-time). He has taught PHP and MySQL at MATC since 2005, and is the lead developer of PHP curriculum for the Programmer/Analyst Associate Degree program.

Dean also currently teaches Database Design and Linux Server classes as well as managing MATC instructional servers used for Web application and database programming courses.

Dean’s background includes over 15 years of IT systems development experience including several years as an Oracle Database Administrator.
