Thomas Risberg

Thomas Risberg currently works as a consultant specializing in Java EE and database projects. He has been developing database applications for over 20 years using a wide variety of languages and databases. Most of his current work is developed using Java, Java EE and Spring. He has been a committer on the Spring Framework project since early 2003, contributing to enhancements of the JDBC framework portion.

Thomas is co-author of “Professional Java Development with the Spring Framework” together with Rod Johnson, Juergen Hoeller, Alef Arendsen, and Colin Sampaleanu, published by Wrox in 2005.

Thomas has presented on Spring and JDBC at OSCON 2005, The Spring Experience 2005 and 2007, SpringOne 2006, and at local user group events.
