Want a database with blazing performance, features that would make a database professor blush and a super army of database geeks making it better every day? Try PostgreSQL!

Come to our BoF where you’ll meet a dozen or more PostgreSQL experts, learn about what’s coming in version 8.4 and where you can find other folks who like and use PostgreSQL every day.

We’ll have a presentation on the features, provide a little insight into our development process, and answer questions people have from the crowd.

The Portland PostgreSQL Users Group will host, with help from Josh Berkus (giving talks, core team member), Robert Treat (giving the Pro PostgreSQL tutorial), Bruce Momjian (long time contributor, release wrangler, core team member), Selena Deckelmann (Pg User Group Liaison), Joshua Drake (PgUS President) and others!
